What we are tempted to call a disaster is sometimes the first painful stage of a blessing – Stephen Mitchell
Relational Psychotherapy
Relational psychotherapy sessions are centered on the development of relation awareness. Strategies of interaction and disconnection and styles of interpersonal engagement are observed and identified. The origins and the reasons for the development of these strategies are explored.
Transformation occurs when the therapist and individual build new relational images using them as models for healthier and more fulfilling relationships.
By understanding how our relational patterns affect our mental and emotional well-being we facilitate the recovery of our growth process, thus the possibility of learning about and understanding ourselves The increased awareness of our inner and outer world makes new tools available to us as we make choices and experiences that are more and more aligned with the unveiling of our true self.
